How to prevent cyber attacks

March 9, 2020

At Check Point Software it is our mission and goal every day to make sure that our clients and organizations that we work with are safe and secure. One of those tools to enable that and to make sure that your company isn't being compromised from potential vulnerabilities is the security check assessment. The story today kind of highlights that.

We worked with a large firm in Nevada and after the security checkup assessment, we delivered the report. I talked with my engineer, my engineer said, "I don't know how I'm going to deliver this information." Well, in that report, we found that over 240 gigs of data was being siphoned off their network, siphoned off their network to a Chinese Facebook site called QQ. Crazy thing about this is they have zero Chinese employees, and in the meeting, the client literally ran out of the room to go find the computer and go unplug it. Why am I telling you this? I'm telling you is to make sure that you get a security check assessment done because it's free.

We will make sure that your environment is safe and secure and we will make sure that you are free of vulnerabilities today. If you want to learn more, reach out to Palmiq, our Check Point experts today.
